Dallas Green grabs second GT3/GT4 race
Dallas Green has won the second TradeZone GT3/GT4 race of the weekend at Hampton Downs. After starting the race down the order due to the handicap, Green moved into the lead on lap six of eight. Second-placed Martyn Todd held a pretty consistent track position, sitting between third and second place the entire race.
Yesterday’s race winner Nick Jones came through from 11th to finish on the final step of the podium third. Nigel Karl campaigned his new former Class 2 NZV8 car to fourth place ahead of Toby Annabell in fifth. Richard Wagstaff finished sixth with Hayden Gare seventh and Garry Carswell eighth. Carswell also recorded the fastest lap of the race. Shane Whitley and Layne Collier Rounded out the top ten.
Robin Greenland was the first of the GT4 grid to cross the line ahead of Brian Hamilton and Drew Jefferies.
