Adam Newell takes a commanding win in race 2
Adam Newell wins the race 2 of the TradeZone GTRNZ GT1/GT2 round at Hampton Downs.
The field headed out for a staggered reverse grid start on a wet track, they got away making it through the first lap cleanly.
Brayden Phillips coming unstuck through turn 1 early in the race, bringing out the safety car. The race went back to green with 4 to laps go.
The safety car bunched the field letting the GT1 cars close on the back of the GT2 field. Though most went able to gain much ground with GT2 cars making up the majority of the top 10
Adam Newell wins GT1 and overall ahead of Kerry Jones who takes second in class but 8th overall.
While Brock Cooley takes the GT2 win and second overall, from Nathan Strachan and Struan Robertson
