Competed in NZSS class - Auckland Car Club events - Targas and hillclimbs
Mike is a self employed panel beater. Started in motorsport in 1974 in drag racing and competed on and off until he found that there were race tracks with corners in them so in 1998 started club sprint racing then in 2000 and 2001 did the Dunlop Targa followed by several 2 day Targa events and a bit of club racing. Then joined NZ Super Sedans and ran for 3 years and has been addicted ever since.He has stayed with the same car that he used in Targa but has changed it more to suit circuit racing. It is still road registered and is used for the odd hill climb. |
