Prior to NZGT I had race karts on/off for 5 years based on budget. During this time I was an apprentice engineer. I have not raced now for 6 years. I ran my first half season in NZGT during the last three rounds of the 2010/11 series and the car has performed above my set expectations. The goal for the 2011/12 season will be to aim for GT2. Just a few small mods will take place over the off season to gain what I hope will be enough to push the car to the next level. I will continue to develop the car and explore new ideas over the coming seasons till I reach a formula that allows me to drive 100% and have to fight for a top position. I am an engineer and enjoy R & D. I find prototype engineering work the most enjoyable. Motorsport is my first sporting passion with F1 and LMP being at the top of my list due to the cutting edge technology behind each discipline. With the car in it's stage one phase there are many area's that need attention to improve handling. The off season will be a busy one with the fitment of a bias adjustable pedal box as a priority change and if all goes well new wheels and tyres. The aero package will see some minor changes to achieve better grip and balance. I aim to have a car with high grid and low HP, with a high average track speed. My ethos is to drive to 100% of the cars potential or go home. I love driving on the edge.

| The car is powered by an RB20DET was originally a 1991 GTS-t type - M The engine has had a fresh build with ACL forged race pistons, ACL race bearings, lightly ported head, race valve springs, Garrett GT3582R Turbocharger running only 22psi boost on BP98 pump fuel, with other mods the engine is currently putting out 409.3hp at the rear wheels. |

I am running Dunlop O2G medium compound R1 semi slick tyres. Will switch to slicks when the budget allows. Entry level BC gold top suspension AP racing discs with Willwood calipers front, Zenolli grooved discs with factory calipers rear. |

A big thanks to my parents Keith & Pat for all the support. With all my dinners taken care of, I was able to work long late hours to get the car done.
