First race meeting 1967 at Paratitu  in New Plymouth   [ Austin A40 farina ]  Shell Silver fern Rally [ 1969] [ Sunbeam Alpine ]  now  the WRC   international event   then owned and raced a Mclaren and ran that in the F5000 Series in the mid 1970s till motorsport NZ changed the rules [ heard that before] . worked for  Nicholson  Mclaren  as an Engine builder in the Uk  .GP  winning engines for John  Watson and many others in various classes .    2nd  NZ hillclimb championship 2 yeas in a row in own built car . winner of many races  in my own triumph Tr7V8  both the Black  one [ black pig ] and the later blue one . They  were fast cars now i only realize how fast They  were . would still be competitive today in GTRNZ

have raced a formula  ford at Brands hatch in the Uk  there on the Indy circuit and won /

Winning is nice but it is   how you lose as you lose more than you can win.
