Wayne Dougan

Wayne is a Project Services Manager for an engineering consultancy firm (P&P) in New Plymouth and is in partnership with wife Lynda in an industrial engraving business (Egmont Sign Engraving) in Waitara.

Wayne has 2 children - Torben and Tyla. Eldest son Torben has a very rare terminal illness and has now very limited ability - he for one especially enjoys motor racing and travel.

Wayne was involved in the local Volunteer Fire Brigade for many years but has now retired to spend time with the family. He Raced off roaders many years ago and a very short stint in speedway racing a 3/4 midget thanks to his good friend Lynn Fitzsimons. He has also competed in classic circuit racing and club events in a MK1 Escort GT, a Triumph TR7 V8 convertable and in Ross Calgher'sTR7 V8 hard top.

This race season will be Wayne's first for over 8 years, the car has just been completed, so the combination of a rusty driver in an old car should prove entertaining.
