Shaun is 26 years old and a tool maker by trade working for Eric Paton Engineering in Auckland. After 3 years of racing a Mazda Pro 7 Shaun decided to turn his road going Mazda with its blown engine, into a race car. Two years later he's here with much sorting out of the car to do. The car is completely built by Shaun with the help of his family and many friends from the rollcage to the Peripheral Port housings he has made it himself to a limited self funded budget. The car won awards for Best Engineering and Best Race Car at the 2009 Performance Car National show. |
