Russell Due

Russell Raced Humber 80 at Levin in the late 60's then an HQ Monaro GTS, followed by Torana (ex Brian Bate) - this was written off at Taupo.

Built HC Viva Firenza with a 350 chev and raced at all North Island circuits and 1997 Wgtn Street Race - also many hillclimbs at which some achieved hill records.

Russell was born and lived on a farm near Taihape until 4 years ago when he moved to Feilding. He has driven earth moving machinery, has always been interested in wheels-tracks-planes and motorsport. He is a foundation member of the Taihape Car Club. - Golf and Fishing he says are too slow...
